Dying Light 2 will host its very first Halloween event that will be free for players, featuring even more zombie killing action.

Dying Light 2 is hosting a Halloween event. Halloween is just around the corner, so players can expect many games to host horror centric events, and with Dying Light 2 revolving around zombies, it is a great game to implement such an event.

Halloween is an exciting time for gaming, as there are likely spooky and fun activities in a multitude of games that players can enjoy. Even non-horror games can join in on the fun, like creating a Halloween themed island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons using specific villagers that are both eerie and cute. Other than activities, gamers can also enjoy Halloween sales hosted by different sites like Steam and Epic, who will both have many discounts on horror games. However, players that are looking for a specific event centered around Halloween are in luck when it comes to Dying light 2.

The Dying Light official YouTube page recently posted a video that showcases what players can expect from its free Halloween event titled “All Hallows’ Eve” Event. The video shows the normal zombies one can encounter in the base game, and teases new monsters like Pumpkintiles that look like super zombies with glowing Jack-O-Lanterns for heads. Dying Light 2 may be considered one of the best zombie games, and the upcoming event is expected to add to the action in this way.The event also introduces a new character located in the Bazaar known as Baka The Unfortunate, who rests in a hanging cage. Players are encouraged to collect treats when hunting enemies in order to trade for new and spooky rewards.

The event will take place from October 25 to November 4, and players are encouraged to pick up the Dying Laugh Bundle available from November 3 to November 10. Based on community feedback, players are excited about the event and have high expectations for it. This event may be a good opportunity for players to utilize the mods for Dying Light 2, such as adding more zombies to the game and unlimited weapon durability.

This month marks Dying Light 2’s first Halloween event, seeing as how the game came out at the beginning of this year. Because of this event, it appears as though the developers are still actively adding to and improving the games content, which is considered a good thing since there are features that Dying Light 2 doesn’t have or could refine, like better long range weapons. Despite some imperfections of the base game, players are eager to jump into the All Hallows’ Eve Event.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available now for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
