But there is also lots of cooking recipes that use Pumpkins that have been in the game since Early Access began back in September. A good example of one of these recipes is Pumpkin Soup. This guide will show Disney Dreamlight Valley players how they can make some Pumpkin Soup of their own.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

How To Make Pumpkin Soup

Pumpkin Soup is a Four-Star Recipe. It can be made with one Vegetable, one Milk, one Ginger, and one Pumpkin. For the mandatory ingredients, Milk can be purchased from Remy’s Restaurant provided that players have added him to the village and repaired his restaurant. Ginger is an ingredient that grows on its own in the Forgotten Lands. Finally, Pumpkins can be bought pre-grown or as seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Forgotten Lands as well.

Since Goofy’s inventory changes every day, Disney Dreamlight Valley players may need to upgrade Goofy’s Stall if it isn’t fully upgraded already as this increases the chance of one of his items being Pumpkin Seeds. Pumpkins do take four hours to grow, however, and they need to be watered twice. The first time they need to be watered is right after they are planted, and the second time is two hours afterward.

How Much Energy Does Pumpkin Soup Restore?

The minimum amount of Energy that Pumpkin Soup restores is 1,431. Since the vegetable ingredient that is part of the recipe is flexible, the amount of energy restored will vary since each vegetable restores a different amount of energy.

The difference won’t be significant, but it is something that Disney Dreamlight Valley players should be aware of when they are using their vegetables to make Pumpkin Soup. For a four-star recipe, Pumpkin Soup restores a decent amount of energy and would be a good method of getting the Well Fed movement speed increase.

Does Pumpkin Soup Have Other Uses?

Like with most cooking recipes, Pumpkin Soup has a chance of being an order at Remy’s Restaurant. These orders are random, but they are a great way to make a lot of progress toward the next Friendship Level of the Disney character that ordered that meal.

Beyond that, Pumpkin Soup also has a chance of being a daily favorite item for one of the 18 Disney characters that are currently in the game. Just like with orders at Remy’s Restaurant, daily favorite items are also a good way to make a lot of progress toward the next Friendship Level for characters that are below Level 10.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
