Reddit user shunixe deserves credit for making a mech version of Farigiraf, reimagining it as a mix of a futuristic machine and a living being. The user uploaded an image on social media that gives a robotic look to Farigiraf. The giraffe-based Pokemon is seen with metallic scales across its body, making it look like a machine from the Horizon games, as pointed out by many users. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan has brilliantly maintained Farigiraf’s color scheme while perfectly integrating metallic scales. Its long neck and head are shown in shades of black and brown with subtle detailing in yellow and orange. In contrast, the rest of its body is painted yellow and orange with minor hints of greyish-black tones to portray it as a robot.

At first look, shunixe’s Farigiraf looks like an intimidating machine that wants to terrorize other living forms. A cunning smirk on its face can be seen upon a closer look, making it look even more dangerous. Overall, the Pokemon community positively received the artwork, as seen by nearly 12,000 upvotes and hundreds of encouraging comments. Many fans suggested it could feature in a potential crossover between Pokemon and the Horizon series.

For those unaware, Farigiraf is an upcoming pocket monster from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It is an evolved version of a second-generation Pokemon, Girafarig, and both are based on giraffes. After the evolution, Girafarig’s two heads combine to form a single entity connected through a network of thick nerves, boosting its psychic powers exponentially. Fans are excited to see Farigiraf’s new abilities, including Cud Chew and Armor Tail.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch November 18, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
