Players will love playing Superhot from start to finish enough to do the journey again, but how can they begin fresh after winning the first time?

Superhot is a game that players can’t ever forget. The formula involving time flow based on movement is not one that any other title has been able to emulate or duplicate. After beating the entire game for the first time, players have the option to replay any level they’d like by putting the appropriate disk in.

But what about doing the campaign all over again? Some players may want somebody else to get the fresh experience they once got. Or they might also want to play the game sequentially, feeling the glory of unlocking each stage over again. Thankfully, Superhot makes this possible and simple.

Resetting The Campaign

To reset the campaign, grab the disk on top of the monitor to the right of the center monitor. The sick itself says “reset progress” on it in all caps and circles. Insert this disk into the main monitor and warnings will pop up on all the monitors that this will reset the game. Put on the overhead VR headset to confirm this choice.

Players will keep their achievements as well as the sticky notes they’ve unlocked. However, the red room with the cryptic messages will go back to looking normal. If players don’t want that to happen, it may be wise to create a new profile or simply insert the disks instead of resetting one of the best games on the Meta Quest 2.

If players are needing to reset progress to get any joy out of Superhot, it also might be time to try one of the other awesome FPS VR games on PC. There isn’t any game quite like this one, so it’s understandable to want to play it all over again. Yet sometimes letting some time pass makes the game feel even fresher than spamming whole campaign sessions back-to-back. No judgment either way, this information is here should players choose to use it.

Superhot is available now for Nintendo Switch, Oculus Quest, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
